Sledding

Today Tyla, Payton and I went sledding at the park down the street. The kids had fun going down the hill a few times, but then they were done and wanted to go play the playground, go figure!!

Tyla

Tyla performed in the Nutcracker with her dance studio on the 10th & 11th. This year she was a "Sugar Plum Fairy". She is such a good little dancer. She did great!!!

Payton

Payton found his new hobby... the gameboy!! I can NOT believe he can actually play! He does not get very far in the game, but he can move the "Crash" guy and knows when to push the buttons!

His other new favorite thing is his snowboots. He puts them on in the morning, watches movies in them, they are his favorite shoes! Thank goodness he does not insist on sleeping in them! And look, his sister loves hers too!

Visit to Grandma Leslies!

Tyla and Payton got their haircut today. They look like new kids! Tyla really wanted to cut her hair to be twins with her cousin Brieann! I didn't want her to, but its her hair.
She made a good choice and looks adorable!

Halloween

This years Halloween was a lot of fun. We were able to go to the "Boo Farm" at Thanksgiving Point with friends of ours. Just Tyla and Payton carved their pumkins with Pete and I and we had lots of fun doing it.
As you can see Miss Tyla was Snow White, and what a beautiful Snow White she was! Payton was a Rocker. Totally fits him and wanting to always play Guitar Hero. Payton, Tyla and I made it to Jordan and Mackenzies Halloween parade. This year was their moms turn to enjoy Halloween with them. Pete and I had so much fun at the Halloween party we went to. Everyone got a kick out of our costumes!

WOW, I am glad we don't have more than 4 kids...

Life is busy! With Jordan a Cho Dan Bo (first degree black belt) in Tae Kwon Do, Mackenzie in swim 5 nights a week, Tyla in preschool and dance, and Payton into EVERYTHING, there seem to be no time to just sit.
Here is a little about whats going on with each of us...
Jordan is continuing with Tae Kwon Do. He is on the demo team which performs demonstrations for schools, belt ceremonies and a number of other events. He is working on a back-handspring tuck and is almost there. He just needs a little more air.
Mackenzie is enjoying swim. She is an avid reader also. She is currently reading The Series of Unfortunate Events and is almost done with book 10. She is a big helper around the house and with the little ones.
Tyla is back in dance and preschool at Miss Margenes Creative classroom. She is thoroughly enjoying school and can't wait for kindergarten. She has lots of friends at school and is still a smarty pants. Her first performance in dance will be in The Nutcracker which will be performed in the beginning of December.
Payton is curious as ever. He doesn't seem to ever stop, even when going to bed at night. He is a big helper with dishes and laundry (I have to take him with me around the house in order to keep him busy and keep him out of things!) He LOVES to be outside. Just this morning, the first thing out of his mouth was, "Mom. I want shoes. Go outside." He rides his bike just like Fred Flintstone and gets going way fast!
Pete is still a contractor doing granite counter tops. He is soooooo excited that football season is finally back. GO BEARS! So sorry folks, you won't be getting much out of him on Sunday! LOL. He really enjoys doing fantasy sports online with his buddies. Hopefully he will win big this season!
I am still with Melaleuca. I am really enjoying the products and am always anxious to introduce the company to new customers. Just the other day I got a glob of dark blue paint on the bottom of my purse (I set it on Tylas painting that she did at school.) I didn't know it was on there and set my purse on the front seat of my new van. When I lifted up my purse and saw the blue I almost had a heart attack, but then knew it was time to put Mela's Sol-u-mel to the test. With just one spray to the bottom of my purse, and then a wipe with a napkin, the paint was gone!! So I went outside with my Sol-u-mel and Pre-spot treatment. I sprayed my seat, wiped, sprayed again and scrubbed with a toothbrush and the paint was gone! Holy cow was I excited. So needless to say, that is why I am so hyped up about Melaleuca!
